To be recognized as an agent of creation of value from the technological assets of the UC School of Engineering, achieving a sustainable model that allows the reinvestment of resources in liaison and technology transfer activities.

The office was created to encourage opportunities for social and economic development, by connecting society with the knowledge acquired by UC School of Engineering professors, its pioneering research and programs.

The connection with the industry, government, and civil society must be built on best practices and trust, supported by internal tools and processes that ensure that the results of the collaborations are transferred according to the highest international standards.

The office was created in 2014 as the Innovation Support Unit of DICTUC, a company that provides services to the School, in order to catalyze the interaction with companies, through the accompaniment of our professors in the development of technologies, channeling industry requirements and offers from the School, project formulation, and formalization of collaboration contracts.

Thanks to the Engineering 2030 project, these capabilities were implemented in the School of Engineering under the name of Industry Liaison Office,: whose tasks include catalyzing technology transfer processes, strengthening the industry-university relationship, and effectively articulating internal and external networks to address the technological challenges posed by the industry and country.
